Description
Once you make the decision to resurrect an old-school muscle car using modern technology, there is a right way and several wrong ways to do it. But oftentimes, finding the right way means learning a few of those wrong ways first. Well, one look at this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Tribute LS3 Restomod, with a mere 5,827 miles since it was rebuilt, and it's clear that this first-gen Pony Car was redone about as right as it gets. Fully repainted in this stunning blue exterior with complementing dual full-length white racing stripes, this Camaro shows off an aggressive cowl hood, front bumper delete, chrome rear bumper, and front and rear spoilers, all of which suggest that this is a bit more than your father's muscle car.
Inside this beautiful beast, we find a clean, inviting custom black leather interior, complete with plush, supportive power bucket seats taken from a 2014 Camaro, separated by a sleek center console. A three-spoke power-assisted steering wheel sits in a pair of large Auto Meter gauges, while a quartet of white-faced auxiliary gauges, along with a Holley Terminator X fuel injection display, all transmit feedback from the base of the center stack. A retro-style AM/FM/AUX head unit handles soundtrack duties, keeping the vibe in sync with your emotions wherever the road takes you.
Under that expansive hood, we find a bevy of chrome adorning a sweet 6.2-liter overhead valve LS3 crate V-8. With a lightweight aluminum block and heads, sequential-port fuel injection, a composite body-color intake manifold, and high-flow injectors, this Gen IV small-block is capable of producing at least 426 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Tack on a custom air intake, BTR Stage 3 cam, Speedtech long-tube headers, and a custom 2.5-inch true dual stainless steel exhaust, and those numbers are undoubtedly higher. Power is routed through a tried-and-true Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission before being sent out to the 4.10-geared ten-bolt rear via a custom aluminum driveshaft.

Not only is this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Tribute LS3 Restomod built to be a boulevard bruiser, but unlike its original setup, this car is configured to tackle the twisties with the same alacrity as the dragstrip. Riding on a custom suspension consisting of tubular A-arms, subframe connectors, a TCI 3-link rear with frame extensions, pan hard bar, torque arm, and a sway bar, this Camaro also gets a set of adjustable front Viking and Ride Tech rear coilovers to help it stay glued to the pavement by way of a gorgeous set of 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels. And when it comes time to pull the reins on all the gobs of power at your disposal, power disc brakes at all four corners are ready to clamp down and scrub off speed in no time. So, if you've always wanted to do a restomod, but weren't sure which was the right way and which was the wrong way, don't worry, because this car is the embodiment of all the right ways. That means the only right move left for you is to call today!
